@POSHYPOP's coaching session was terrific. He was patient, professional, clear, and concise. I've got almost 1200 hours in game, and in one hour, Poshy taught me more about lane match ups, itemization, and priorities of work at different phases of the game than I've learned on my own. I'll be taking a week or two to practice the concepts we discussed and then I'll be back for another session. Probably a third after that. Thanks, Poshypop.

(67 total)The session went really well, and i'm really happy with the results! He answered all of my questions and went in depth, making sure i understand the logic behind how things actually work. While i knew that this game is generally more difficult than others, i never could've thought about the multitude of factors that really take place. He identified problems quickly and gave solutions on how to fix them, making sure i understand along the way. Overall this opened a whole new perspective of the game and changed the way i think of approaching fights. I will probably schedule another session in the near future to see my progression and fixing other, smaller, mistakes i make.
Information was presented well. Excellent in game analysis of what went well & wrong. At the end of the session, action items were summarized. I watch my own games back a lot. It was very useful to have someone with more knowledge there to get feedback on my gameplay & on the game overall. He was very receptive to questions while also being very personable. A very valuable session. After working on the recommendations I will likely schedule another session to see how I am doing & next steps. A great service overall!
The information was presented very clearly, and I left the session with a list of actionable changes that will improve my gameplay. There was lots of good advice on how to approach practice and deliberately make good decisions throughout the game. Poshy was very professional and it was clear that his experience coaching allows him to hone in on specific issues quickly. I would highly recommend the service if you want to improve your deadlock gameplay.
So it's about time I leave a review for my coaching session I try to only leave reviews when I feel they are warranted and in this case, I feel that it is warranted first and foremost I want to start off by saying that the coaching session was fantastic any and all my questions were answered in great detail, and in a way that I could understand and utilize them in my own games the advice and the help givin during the review felt like it came from a place of wanting to help people improve and to better themselves in the video game I never once felt while going into this that because of my skill level or the ability of where I am playing at that the advice I would be given would come from a place of oh well I'm better than you and I really respected that I still have a lot to think on and to internalize but I will be back for another and I would recommend this avenue of improvement to others
I highly recommend Poshy's coaching. I feel like I learned more in one session than in half my playtime. -Clear and Concise Communication: Poshy was highly motivated to help, intent on making the most of your time. Poshy provided understandable explanations, utilized a pen tool for visual clarity, and paused frequently to ensure I grasped important topics. -Insightful Feedback: Poshy quickly identified all relevant information related to my questions and issues, not only providing solutions but also helping me understand the reasoning behind them. He showed me how to look at the game and make informed decisions (what factors to consider and their implications). -Polite and Approachable: Poshy made it easy to ask questions; all feedback was highly constructive and free of judgment.
I've reviewed my own gameplay in other games before, and while identifying problems was easy, the solutions always felt vague. Things like "I shouldn't have done this," "Next time I need to be here," or "I just need to do better" it never really stuck, they'd come and go, and my brain would quickly move on. During my session we were able to navigate through those problems and come up with concrete solutions. I now have specific focal points to keep in mind while playing like adjusting my build depending on who I'm facing, and positioning myself in specific vantage points to be more effective and survive longer in 1v1/team fights. A+ communication, and feedback. Would highly recommend.
Just finished my first coaching session. I haven't implemented or tried what I learned yet but I'll say the following as someone working in an academic field where teaching is very important and having won teaching awards/accolades myself: -Very high yield session, chock full of useful lessons. You learn a ton at a granular level of detail but that is still something you know you'll be able to implement into a live game -Clarity of teaching. Very easy to understand. Good communicator. Good back and forth during the session. -I came away with solid priority takeaways that I used to make a reference card of sorts to use until the teaching points become second nature to my gameplay. -Is willing to tailor coaching to your learning style. I specifically asked for a Top 3 of how to address my greatest weaknesses to have the highest yield impact on my games and he delivered on that request. Bottom line is he has the skills to teach effectively and I had a good experience in my first session. Looking forwarding to trying out what I learned in live games!
full-time job, side hustle, 2 kids. Thanks @POSHYPOP
i play better now :D good coaching
the best coaching session out of all eu/na, as eternus myself i was taught terrifying amount of lessons just after breaking down laning phase
Clear and concise coaching. Answered all questions I had with examples and provided resources to look over. Thanks poshy
poshypop is a very smart player and made me think about the game in completely new ways that i never would've thought about otherwise, will definitely be booking more sessions in the future
Today was my second session with Poshy and I am very satisfied. Going into both sessions, I made my goals clear and throughout the entirety of sessions, I was given actionable advice on all of the things that I wanted to improve with. All of my impromptu questions were answered thoroughly, and Poshy made sure I was grasping the concepts he was laying out on the table. As someone who has had multiple coaching sessions with different individuals, I can confidently say I feel the most comfortable recommending Poshy as my go-to.
i love the way poshypop's poshy popped
I really enjoyed how poshy broke things down for me during the session. For the vod review we mostly focused on early mechanics and ability usage in the short time span of the early game he was able to give me a lot of information. Broke things down in a way that was easy to understand if I was confused. Helped me realize I was building into the wrong play style, and he realized this after my first buy coinciding with the way I play in lane. 10/10 would recommend and I will be scheduling again in the near future
Did an amazing review with Poshy for the first time! It went amazing! His cats were being noisy but we love cats! We mainly focused on Macro, how to close out a game, and how to keep a good lead. It was super incintfull and can only be tought by the #1 pro player! It really means the world on how much he helped! Thanks so much Poshy! I was super nervous and stutter due to Poshy being a cool dude but we powered through. Poshy was also super understanding and made sure I knew what was going on every single second! 10/10 would recommend again! Def going to buy again. He's my fav pro, I just fanboyed the entire time.
Just got out of two vod reviews with Poshy focusing on early game Holliday. I told him in the form and before the call what I wanted to work on and he found some key points I wasn't taking advantage of before they even happened in the vod review. Whether youre initiate or ascendant like myself, you will leave your session with action points to focus on and improve. Already have more sessions scheduled on different points in the game and really looking forward to it. 10/10 no glaze towards posh.
Circling back since he's opened them again. His coaching is really insightful and I highly recommend that you go in with 1-2 main areas you wish you improve on for a one hour session, and for more in depth book a second hour. I plan on getting some coaching from him again soon so will post a review of that 🔜 (adding onto my December review again as coaching is back, mans got a good brain for this)
I went into the session barely prepared and still came out of the session with so much more than I could even imagine. He made me realize that Deadlock is so much more than what meets the eye and that there's so much more to think about and do and that really opened my eyes and mind to what is possible to do in this game. The craziest part was that we only looked at the laning phase and it was only 1 hour long! So much valuable information in that amount of time makes it so worth it to me. 10/10 would get coaching again :D To those thinking about getting coaching from poshy, I will 100% recommend it
Poshy has a very good way of breaking down what YOU need to improve on and is very open minded/interested in how you view the game. Many high elo players will call you braindead for not keeping up with them but poshy is very patient and doesnt have an assumption that you're bad. 10/10 coaching session that made me feel like a better player afterwards
First session went through only the early laning phase only, however; there was key insights that I personally hadn't caught myself that I can start applying to my matches to start improving. Additionally went over some over arching concepts using my vod on how to approach objectives as well as applying that knowledge for igl/shot calling. Look forward to getting further insights in the future. 9/10, 10/10 if holiday update hadn't triggered both our adhd(10/10 memes aside)
Coaching session went well. Didn't review the whole match, but advice given was very applicable. Immediate results.
ive played a lot with poshy over the last several weeks and out of all the people in eternus he's probably the one i can trust the most to break things down and point out things that I can apply to my games. excellent coaching session and took the time to answer all of my questions, ive got a lot of takeaways and im ready to hopefully not get chainganked by him again :hubert:
Incredible coaching session today, breaks down concepts in ways that are easy to understand. Ensures to answer any of your questions with always being constructive. Highly recommend a session, and will definitely request to schedule another one to continue my improvement. Excited to play more games with the key takeaways from today.
Great coaching session! Super in depth! Showed me the subtleties of the map and this really helped my understanding of the game! Now I have a much better game plan going into each match, thanks for the session 🙂
Poshy was well spoken and went throgh a lot of different concepts. Helped me understand and identify my points for improvement while giving me time to ask questions or ask me what I would do in those situation. Was very well done
to add to this, we did a longer coaching session today of a full game to give me more of an understanding to what is going on in the mid/late game as well as cover duo lane and last time we talked solo lane. some of the concepts were a bit tough to fully flesh out because there's so many variables/options/etc but I feel I'm beginning to understand the math behind the more involved macro decisions, enough so that when watching the scrim today I didn't feel totally lost. In fact it feels a bit like "hey poshypop how do you use urn to force fights and control the map? why would you turn urn slowly instead of asap - what are plays you can do from that position? How do you half midboss to force a fight, what if they don't hard engage you?" poshypop: "hold my beer, watch this scrim" We covered prettymuch everything mentioned, but there's only so much a vod of me losing can show/teach. it was nice to see him pick up a win doing all of those concepts. While I usually tune into the stream for chat rather than tryhard coms, it was nice to hear them making calls and how they make it clear. This was the first time I felt like I was understanding high lvl comms and it was all concepts we talked about.
Had an amazing session in which poshypop went over lane positioning, trading, wave priority, and ganking. He was exeptunally good at making these topics simple and easy to understand for someone who has no moba background. He was very attentive always making sure I understood everything. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to gain a deeper understanding of the macro of deadlock.
Our session reviewed my team getting beaten up by a much better one in a tournament. He did a great job breaking down the laning phase, specifically how to react to double soaking and how to predict ganks due to lane state across the map. He also commented on team comps and whether certain champs should be the ones roaming or holding waves. He has great game knowledge, and did an amazing session. Reckon he is one of the best coaches in the scene right now (especially for a very cheap price!)
had a session that helped to prioritize "how" to use my lane priority and catch me up to speed on lane positioning, understanding how to risk analyize things like ganking at a macro level (what you lose in lane v what you gain, micro: "this ult counters you dont dive"). We split a lot of our focus on early game which I verymuch needed help knowing when to prioritize buying vs denying souls as well as positioning. Even though we covered a lot of early game, I was able to still learn aignificant of info about midgame and was introduced to the ideas of when/why to half mid-boss, a thing I had never attempted and only seen high level players do.
Poshy is an amazing coach, his game knowledge and moba knowledge just allow him to be super insightful and helpful to guide your style of play in the more impactful direction. I feel that with the first session alone I can already improve massively from where i am now. I 1000% recommend to anyone who wants to improve. Poshy genuinely wants to help fix any mistakes and expand your way of thinking and playing this game. Thanks again Poshy 11/10 session!
had a session with poshy as a fellow eternus 5 ivy player. he was adaptive to understand that i already understood the basic concepts deeply, and was able to focus on the concepts more relevant for my skill level. i felt it was productive even though we are the same rank as his insight can enlighten me to things i would say i am especially bad at (for this session in particular, better roaming/communication were the main takeaways). i respect poshy's game knowledge and believe he understands macro and matchups better than most top players, and is also just overall a positive figure in the deadlock community. 5 out of 5 gold stars ⭐
Very cool very swag. People I get reviews from usually just go to my deaths and kills but this was so much more. Poshypop broke down both the mindset I had and the mindset the enemies should be having. Praying on my hands and knees to the patron that with this information I can be the strongest slayer this side of the Mississippi. The info was also useful for more than just the character I was playing, it is applicable to every hero. Here's to a new me, and a new wave of thwomp walkers!
Incredibly informative and easy to understand coaching session for my burger brain. We observed my lane phase and did an entire play-by-play noting where I did well and where mistakes were made, turning a 10 minute period of the game into an hour long lesson on how to manipulate the lane/lane opponent in my favor. Much of what I already knew was expanded upon, and learned a lot of things I didn't know. Wave management and when to engage in lane were my biggest takeaways from the session, and that was probably only 10 minutes total of the whole hour. Definitely worth getting in your free session if you're a sub/supporter, even if you just want a little critique on how your games are going. Hubert was not present, Poshy drew on the screen like an NFL commentator, and I even got to see a glimpse of Fat Minion with Human Eye. 10/10 thank you poshul im eternus 7 now
I had a session with Poshy where I had picked a match where I lost badly, but as it turns out, I had played well. I often have problems in my games where I think I'm doing well, but the longer the game goes, the more and more I fall behind on souls. In the session I learned about wave management and how to create openings for me to roam or grab boxes/camps and how to decide when to disengage to go shopping in order to create an item difference and swing the fight in my favor. Since then I've played a few games to try to put these into practice and lately I've been able to keep up with the souls and thus ensure that I still have an impact on the game as it goes into the 30-35 minutes range exactly by managing the wave so I don't lose out on souls from the enemy wave. I wasn't even aware I was making these mistakes so the coaching session was well worth it, as I wouldn't have noticed otherwise
I had one coaching session with the Poshy himself, and all i'm gonna say is, Hubert would be proud of what i've become. Definitely give it a try. (Basically learned a lot of early game playstyle, really good!)
I learned a ton about wave priority and farming from Poshy for my laning phase. Alongside those, I gained more understanding about when to play aggressively given map visibility. While a lot of the suggestions were things I unconsciously knew or saw other people do, I never had the awareness to put them into words or concepts so that I could properly assess where I went wrong. Since this coaching, I now have a deeper understanding, and this'll help me drastically when reviewing my own replays. It's worth every minute of yappery from Poshypop.
Learned a lot about pre learning phase and post laning phase with my session a lot of moba concepts I already had a grasp on effortlessly explained into the world of deadlock thank you so much for the session only complaint it was too short 😭 (in the sense I'm broke and can't afford it not a dig at poshypop)
Learned a lot about MOBAs and macro from just a quick hour, poshy did a great job teaching me about the gamestate and what I should be looking to do at all times, as well as pointing out other areas of improvement including things that I never would have figured out on my own. Definitely worth the time
Had a great coaching session today. I am new to MOBAs and Poshypop did a great job breaking down little interactions that I was not noticing before. Definitely drop a twitch sub or a prime sub if you have it and apply for a session.
He really poshied my pop
One of the greatest Deadlock coaches ever. Poshypop does in-depth VOD reviews where he thoroughly breaks down and analyzes every aspect of your gameplay. As someone who is currently learning Yamato (at the time of writing), I was able to further develop my understanding of how to play her both in-lane and post-lane thanks to Poshypop's insights. In my VOD review, he focused on my positioning in-lane (alongside when to poke and when to go in + tower diving), ult usage, general macro, and a few other core concepts. As a student, I couldn't really ask for a better VOD review. Even if you are an Ascendant or Eternus player, there is still great value to be had here. I highly recommend Poshypop as a coach and would most certainly book with him again!
Great session. Poshypop listened to my questions and answered them fully, and was able to pinpoint mistakes and give actionable advice on how to not only avoid repeating them, but how to make better decisions in the future. Will be buying again.
This was my third session with Poshypop, and it won't be my last. His coaching style really works for me, as his focus is more in micro-decisions and technical approaches to the overall strategy I attempt to implement. Once he hits those micro-points, he helps me to "zoom out" and be more aware of the rest of the game. Overall, Poshy is a pretty fantastic coach, and it shows in my progression through the ranks since I started using his program.
PoshyPop was great. Very insightful and it really helps having someone better than you look at what you are doing wrong. Hes very kind when you are doing things wrong. He answered all of my questions and I am booking another session to learn more.
Poshy helped me out of my loss streak and helped me survive more of the mid and late game and how to take my fights much better. Thank you so much for saving my deadlock games! :D I give him a 20 dozen whole farm raised brown eggs out of 12 technicolored glassblown vases (eggs are expensive so it's a very good rating).
Great experience, understands the level of player you are and adapts coaching in order to best fit what needs to be done at the current rank in general or at certain gamestates within the current game, understood where playstyles were coming from and provided comparisons between different characters playstyle in order to make it easier to understand where mistakes are coming from (eg. playing vin lane like an abrams), overall great coach and very friendly
As an Eternus 6 player there is still more to learn about the game and ways to improve. PoshyPop is an excellent coach, and I guarantee he will be able to help you improve with as little as one session. Valuable use of my time and money, I would book another session in the future.
i learned a lot during the session, and most if not all of it translated to all the heroes i play, he was very patient with my questions and overall i've been feeling my gameplay improving a lot so i'd say it wast a waste of money, which if you knew me, you'd know how big is that im saying that super recommended
Poshy was clear and to the point . addresses big issues and small ones too . Poshy def someone id recommend if ur struggling to figure out this game
Knowledge shared regarding lane and macro pressure was very good and to the point. Exactly how I enjoy it. Thanks Poshy!
Poshy is a super chill and respectful coach, helped me learn both macro and micro strategies in the gameplay footage we reviewed during our session. He gave very insightful tips on positioning from my own pov and enemy pov to learn how I could play better in my future games. The coaching session felt very collaborative and I think that was helpful for my learning as well. I would highly recommend getting a session if you feel stuck and want to look for ways to improve.
Poshy is thoughtful and engaging to talk to. Really enjoyed talking detailed strategies and mechanics. He's fine admitting when something is theoretical or subjective or his personal belief versus something objective. Will definitely book again!
Poshy was super helpful. I'm a very new player and he was really able to help me look at the game in a different light. I'm super confident going into my next games and I would definitely recommend a session.
In the session I had with Poshy he was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Explained to me exactly what I was doing right and wrong whilst jotting down notes of everything I need to remember for future games. ABSOLUTELY recommend, without a doubt you'll be getting your money's worth
Did a second coaching session with Poshy, and after the first I felt so knowledgeable about the game and powerful and began climbing to higher ranks that it was surprising how much more there was for me to learn. It was 100% worth it (climbed for oracle to high ascendant so far, with the ability to climb to eternus). Also, I have booked coaching for other games in the past that left me skeptical of their impact, I can say without a doubt this was a different experience and by far my most helpful coaching.
I've never done a coaching session before and I wish I had sooner. Coming from a shooter background and never had played a MOBA before. I felt blind to some MOBA elements. I was unsatisfied with my progress of learning on my own so that's when I turned to a coach and Poshy fulfilled what I was hoping for. So much so that I bought a second hour after the first. He was punctual, respectful, knowledgable, thought provoking and charismatic. Spend an hour or two with Poshy instead of 8 on Youtube. If you want to accelerate your journey and value your time: go with Poshy.
First time receiving deadlock coaching and already the concepts talked about are helping me further optimize my game play and outlook on playing the game optimally. He gave simple and easy to achieve goals that work to developing good habits to improving to what weaknesses are in my game specifically.
Phenomenal coach. Learned a lot about my game play and mistakes. POSHY is a extremely encouraging coach!
Very helpful for better learning what I need to do to improve my macro. Largely through developing and reinforcing better habits in-game
poshypop the goat. helped me determine how to play mina better and how to accelerate my leads.
Very informative! Would definitely recommend if your struggling in any facet of the game. He sent me a list of what we discussed in the session. So its easy to correct the deficiencies and see the results.
Great first session with Poshy, very comprehensive review and overall it's very evident that he really understands the game at a unique, nuanced level. Highly recommend anyone at any skill level to reach out and book a review.
Great coaching, would recommend if you feel stuck in ladder and want a nice boost of improvement.
Learned a lot. Got a ton of great advice and was surprised at the level of insight, each point made also felt super actionable. Looking forward to booking another session!
I'll definitely take another session in the future. I don't think there's anything to add here.
